  • Is there’s minimum?
    There's a $18.75 minimum on orders with next-day service ($40 for same-day service). You can still provide as much or as little laundry as you want, but if it's less than 20 pounds you'll be charged $18.75.

  • What if I don't want to leave my laundry out for pickup?
    If you can’t leave your laundry out after you place your order you can still use Laundry Zone. Here’s how we can accommodate you. After you place your order you will be asked to put your laundry out for pickup. Ignore that request. Then, after you get a message from your Laundry Zoner indicating an approximate pickup time, message your Laundry Zoner and let them know that your laundry will not be out and that he/she should knock/ring/message once they arrive, at which time you can hand-deliver your laundry. Please note: this is not the usual business practice and you will be billed a surcharge fee of $10 if the Laundry Zoner arrives for pickup and is not able to secure your laundry.
  • What days do you pick up and deliver?
    Every day! Laundry Zone operates 7 days a week.
  • Do I put my clothes out for pickup in laundry bags?
    No. You can put your clothes out for pickup in any bag you want—just make sure it’s closed at the top. Most people use disposable bags. If you have air-dry clothes, put them in a separate bag and label it “air-dry”. You can also put your clothes out in your hamper, in which case your launderer will transfer your clothes to a disposable bag and leave your hamper behind.
  • Do I have to separate lights and darks?
    Why would you? That’ll be done for you. Your job is to tap and order. Everything else is done for you.
  • Do I have to be home for pickups and deliveries?
    No! Laundry Zone is all about convenience. Just put your clothes out after you order and go on with your day. Your clothes will be washed, dried, folded, and delivered clean and fresh the next day.
  • Can I request a hypoallergenic detergent?
    Absolutely! Just select "hypoallergenic" when you order. There's no extra charge. Your launderer will use a top-rated hypoallergenic detergent.
  • Can you hang-dry certain items?
    Yes. If you have items you want hung-dry, put them out for pickup in separate bag and label the bag "hang dry".
  • Do you use fabric softener?
    Fabric softener is not recommended because it damages fabrics and shortens the life of clothes. However, if you want fabric softener simply request it in “special instructions” and provide the fabric softener you want and it’ll be done for you.
  • Do my clothes get mixed with other orders?
    No! Never. Won’t happen. Your clothes are kept together at all times and never mixed with other orders. So there are no sanitation issues and no risk of your clothes getting lost.
  • Which laundry detergent do you use?
    When placing an order, you have 3 detergent options: 1. Premium-scented 2. Hypoallergenic (unscented/sensitive skin) 3. Provide your own If you choose premium-scented or hypoallergenic, your launderer will use a top-rated premium brand detergent. If you choose "provide your own," please include your detergent with your pickup. Your launderer will use your detergent and return any unused detergent to you.
  • Do you launder clothes in cold water or hot?
    Clothes are washed in cold water only. However, if you want your clothes washed in hot water simply request it in “special instructions” and you’ll be accommodated.
  • Can you return certain items hung?
    When doing your laundry, you can easily have items hung by including the hangers and specifying in the 'special instructions' which clothes should be hung. In case you don't have hangers, we can also provide them for you.
  • What time do I place my order to get next day delivery?
    Orders in by 3pm are delivered next day by 8pm. (Orders over 100 pounds require an extra day.)
  • What if it's raining when my clothes are returned?
    No worries. Your clothes are returned in weather-proof sealed bags.
  • What time do you pick up and deliver?
    Pickup and delivery occurs between 8am-4:40pm. Laundry Zone send a message indicating approximately what time they plan to pick up, usually within a few hours of you placing your order.
  • Do you wash large items like comforters?
    Your launderer can handle anything that fits in a commercial sized residential washer and dryer. Large puffy items, like comforters, bathmats, pillows, and dog beds, are an extra $8 per item.
  • Do you do dry cleaning or ironing?
    No.
  • Is my identity and payment information protected?
    All messages, reviews, contact information, & payment details are handled through a secure system so your information is private and safe. It is never rented, sold, or shared with anyone for any reason. Your privacy is important and protected very carefully.
  • What if clothes are lost or damaged?
    It’s extremely rare that items are lost or damaged. Your laundry is tagged, kept together, and separate from other orders at all times. Laundry is washed in cold water (unless you request otherwise). Whites and colors are separated and clothes are dried in normal heat or hang-dry, based on your request. Your launderer will use a standard washer and dryer. There is no part of the laundering process that is unique to what you would do at home and that would cause damage or loss.
